A new documentary has been released on YouTube this week titled 88MPH: The Story of the DeLorean Time Machine, which follows the story of the DeLorean, the car that became the most famous and recognizable movie car in history.
Here is the description of the doc:
The 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 “Time Machine” heroic car used in the 1985 hit time travel film “Back to the Future” is an international cultural icon. The car’s heritage transcends borders and generations as one of the most recognizable and beloved automobiles in the world. Witnessing the impact of the DeLorean “Time Machine” and the movie, enthusiasts around the world have built countless replicas of the out-of-stock DeLoreans movie car. It is possibly one of the most reproduced movie cars in history.
Sections of this documentary contain material from “OUTATIME: Saving the DeLorean Time Machine”, a film devoted to the restoration of the “Time Machine” car used in the “Back to the Future” franchise.
The film is directed by Tom quigley, and it includes Claudia wells, who played Jennifer in the first film, as well as Bob gale, who wrote Back to the future. Sounds like a fun doc for movie and / or car fans. Watch the full movie below and let us know what you think.
