sacha jafrithe artist:

“The placement of my artwork in the heart of the moon, entitled: ‘We rise together – with the light of the moon’, aims to reconnect humanity to: ourselves, to each other, to our creator and, ultimately, “the soul of the Earth”. With characters, entwined in love, seeking a new understanding of oneness and consequent hope, as they embark on their journey of exploring our inhabited planet to our uninhabited Moon; across space and time, over mountain and star, to unlearn what we thought we knew everything and relearn everything through the hearts, minds and souls of our children; the purest essence we have moved away from thus far, in an effort to shine light on our shattered planet and begin to heal its fractured heart. to create a new vision for our world, focusing on the five pillars that will enable human unit to thrive again: universality, awareness, connection, empathy and equality. »
