Buenos días, Ohayō, or simply hello from the magnificent EPCOT at Walt Disney World! Get ready to travel the world with us and check out all the latest happenings! Then, travel to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and join us on our adventure through its many countries. Let’s go and see what we have in store for today!
We started our day with an excursion around the EPCOT monorail, where we had a bird’s eye view of all the construction going on inside the park. While we’ve seen Creations Shop and The Re-imagined Club Cool open recently, many areas of the park are still walled up and prepared for the future.
We traveled back in time on the iconic spacecraft Earth! Sadly, two of the attraction’s classic animatronics still seem to be missing. We hope to see them again very soon in their place in the cave scene and in ancient Rome.
“Do you remember how easy it was to learn ABCs?” Thank the Phoenicians – they invented them.
Get ready to take off at the Space 220 restaurant, which is now officially open! We had the chance to dine in an extraordinary restaurant this week. To hear all of our thoughts, check out our lunch review here and our dinner review here!
We decided to visit the brand new Creative Shop, where we found some new creative products! These 3 new Rainbow Disney collection pins featuring the Transgender, Bisexual and Lesbian pride flags are now available for $ 9.99 each.
It was a great day at World Showcase.
Fastpass + will soon be a thing of the past at EPCOT. All signage has been officially removed from attractions and replaced with the Lightning Lane logos, with the exception of Frozen Ever After. We are incredibly sad to say goodbye to this beloved system.
Snow White happily welcomed guests to Germany.
We found that the American Heritage Gallery did not welcome guests today inside the America Pavilion. According to Cast Members, this cultural history exhibit will reopen on September 25.
We walked to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and left for some fun!
It appears that Primeval Whirl is officially threatened with extinction. Demolition has started at the Dinoland USA attraction and sets have started to be removed. Perhaps the biggest removal being the last ‘time travel‘ arch, which once could be seen on top of the hill, but now rests on the ground.
We are sad to say goodbye to all our prehistoric friends!
Character banners soared through the Discovery River Amphitheater in preparation for KiteTails! We can’t wait to check out the next daytime show, which kicks off October 1! But in the meantime, check out all the adorable new sets!
We found Pua and Hei Hei “hanging out”.
There was definitely some monkey business going on!
Speaking of the monkey case, we found Rafiki and Timon chatting!
Lightning Lane also hit DAK, where today we found new signage at Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest.
