How does time travel work on “Outlander”?

the Foreign The story began with Claire time-traveling via the stones of Craigh na Dun. The World War II nurse moved from life in the 1940s to 18th century Scotland, but details surrounding how she got there have remained relatively ambiguous.

In Gabaldon’s books, the rules of time travel in history slowly emerged. We know that place and time are extremely important. In addition to Craigh na Dun, there are other places where time travel is possible, including Ocracoke Stone Circle in North Carolina and Abandawe Cave in Jamaica.

Time travel also seems easier at certain times of the year, and this could have something to do with the changing seasons. The Starz series’ executive producer – Maril Davis – has also confirmed that time travelers must carry a gemstone in order to survive.

“That seems like another consistent rule to follow so you don’t kill yourself,” Davis told IGN.
