The Union Culture and Tourism Minister, Development of the Northeast Region, participated in the inaugural function of “Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate”, a week-long national science festival, in online mode, said Prof. Surendra Singh, Rani Durgavati University Science Festival Coordinator. .
“Such programs will support the Centre’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives. After 35 years, a new educational policy is being implemented, focusing on science, technology, research and skills development,” he said.
Festival coordinator Professor Singh said more than 900 students have registered for the contests to be held during the science festival titled “Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate” (Science is revered everywhere), which aims to attract participants to scientific knowledge of articles of daily use and to propagate scientific theories. .
Each day of the program is based on different themes. February 23 is the annals of Indian science history, February 24 will be the milestones of modern Indian science and technology, February 25 will be swadeshi paramparik inventions and innovations, February 26 will be the literature festival science, while February 27 will have science and technology for the next 25 years. The farewell ceremony will take place on February 28.
