DUBAI, 20th May, 2022 (WAM) — A delegation from the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, led by Managing Director Salem Al Marri, visited Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) to explore potential collaboration in the research and use of UAE d ‘EGA – made of aluminum in space.

Al Marri was received at EGA’s Jebel Ali site in Dubai by Managing Director Abdulnasser bin Kalban and senior company technologists. The delegation visited EGA’s state-of-the-art research and development facilities, foundry and laboratories.

The two sides discussed potential future synergies, including the use of EGA metal by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center in the construction of its next spacecraft, the sharing of laboratory capabilities, machinery and high-end manufacturing facilities. , and the supply of materials.
